Horticruitment UK Ltd is marking its 30th anniversary this year. In 1989 Horticruitment UK was born and was the first agency to provide a specialist recruitment service for the horticultural industry.

Originally set up to serve the Garden Centre and Nursery sectors, Horticruitment quickly established itself as one of the leading recruiters within the industry. This was further strengthened in 1999 when our current Managing Director Mike Fuller joined the company, since then we have developed our services to cover all sectors of the Horticultural and Landbased industries.

Today, Horticruitment UK Ltd is led by Ruth Bolam, Commercial and Operations Director. Quality not quantity continues to be the primary focus, to have quality positions with quality candidates to match.

Horticruitment invests in new technology 

To achieve our goal, we have been investing in quality support staff such as marketing, finance and administration together with experienced consultants who have first-hand experience working in the horticultural industry.

Throughout 2019 we will continue to invest in technology to assist us to improve the aids of communication and to attract and find the top-quality candidates for our clients. 

Proving the success of this investment are some figures from 2018 – Horticruitment's website received 140,000 page views with an average time of 2mins 20secs spent per page, and there was a 38% increase in candidates registering via horticruitment.com.
