J. A Jones & Sons was established in Southport in 1900, and has earned a reputation as a high quality tree and shrub nursery. We currently grow in excess of 100 acres of field grown trees, ranging in size from hedging transplants to semi-mature and multi-stem trees. Grown on Southport’s inherently fertile soil, excellent fibrous root systems are developed, which when combined with our strict growing regime, produce strong healthy trees. Our trees are lifted strictly to order to ensure they arrive `nursery fresh`. For those projects taking place outside the `traditional` planting season, we grow over 7000 container and air pot trees, enabling us to maintain continuity of supply.

In addition to this, we annually produce over 800,000 shrubs and perennials, ranging in size from 2L to 25L+. Our specimen stock range ensures that we can supply complete schemes throughout the UK. With our nursery less than two miles from the coast, we believe our stock is hardy enough to survive the majority of sites, regardless of whether they are on our beautiful coastline, or in our secluded woodlands.

Deliveries are made UK wide through our own fleet or by experienced hauliers.

Our existing clients include sporting venues, leisure parks, wedding venues, hotels and country estates.
