For many garden centres, fashion, footwear, and accessories are already a key offering – and for those looking to increase footfall through other revenue streams, this could be an exciting route.
Curating the perfect collections is an important part of the job, which is why Harrogate Fashion Week has become a go-to date in the diary for so many buyers!
Returning from 2nd-4th August 2026, the three-day event continues to attract buyers from across the UK and beyond, and brings together over 300 brands - making it easy to see everything in one place, from best-loved names to new and emerging labels.
Across the show, there’s a strong mix of collections that sit naturally within garden centre retail; from easy, everyday dresses and lightweight layers, to more practical, outdoor-ready pieces like jackets, knitwear, boots, and wellies.
Alongside this, a wide selection of accessories: bags, scarves, jewellery, sunglasses, and more - perfect for gifting, and also work well as add-on purchases.
HFW is the UK’s leading womenswear trade show, known for its straightforward approach and relaxed, welcoming environment. Buying at HFW means there’s no need for multiple trips; the four halls of fashion provide a well-organised layout that allow you to view all the best collections thoroughly and feel the fabrics, see the colours in person, and understand how pieces work together within the collections, meaning buying can be done with confidence.
Jo Riding, owner of Daisy Clough Nurseries, is one of many garden centre buyers who return each season.
She said: “It’s a fantastic show, there’s a great mix of brands that complement each other. We like to explore the range of clothing, outdoor pieces, footwear and accessories and see what will work well at Daisy Clough. We buy from Nomads and Yest during Harrogate Fashion Week and it's great to see their collections and chat to the in person, it helps us to get a feel for what will sell. It’s also exciting explore new brands we haven’t before, which we wouldn’t discover we didn’t attend the show.”

Many buyers choose to stay for the full three giving them ample time to make considered buying decisions. travel and accommodation discounts are available via the HFW website, making this even more convenient.
