Charcoal Barbecue Go Smart

Monolith, one of the leading names in the barbecue world has developed a new charcoal barbecue which can be controlled via your phone.

Luxury German brand Monolith launched in the UK last year and took the market by storm with rave views by some of the country’s top experts.

Based on a Japanese Mushikamado, a system of cooking in clay, these charcoal ceramic grills are  capable of baking, grilling, smoking and roasting.  They combine the advantage of a stone oven with a traditional grill and use a unique design which ensures low air circulation and accurate temperature control, preventing food from drying out and losing flavour.

This year Monolith has lauched a range of new models, including their Monolith BBQ Guru Edition. The barbecue has been designed to make outdoor cooking easier. Using state of the art of temperature monitors, Wi-Fi technology and an integrated fan built into the Monolith unit, cooking can be controlled via the internet, which means you don’t even need to be there. The Monolith BBQ Guru notifies your phone when the food is ready, and also uses a Ramp Mode, which prevents food over cooking.

Upgrades to the 2018 Monolith range have also seen the largest plancha ever installed which is perfect for large parties and cooking vegetables whilst the new Monolith models also have hinged pellet feeders and a new composition fire box designed to prevent cracking.barbecue

Barbecue expert Paul Yates, said: “These latest innovations to the Monolith have really strengthened the product as a market leader.

“The most innovative upgrade is the BBQ Guru Wi-Fi edition, this feature means you can control your barbecue from the comfort of your own home, down the road or even the other side of the world.

“The new composition fire box is most reassuring, whilst a firebox crack always has been covered by the comprehensive warranty, to have the peace of mind of knowing that Monolith have solved this problem puts them yet another step ahead of the competition.”

All of the Monolith barbecue come with a 10 year warranty and products start from £545. For more information, visit www.monolith-grills.co.uk
