Garden Connect has launched the new webshop of Frosts Garden Centres, prior to the start of the 2019 Spring Season. The webshop is fully integrated with the OpSuite EPoS provided by DavRich.

The new webshop, which can be found via www.frostsgardencentres.co.uk, reflects the new Frosts-brand. “It was important to us to renew our website to reflect our new brand” explains Claudia Roberts, Commercial Director of Frosts. “The new webshop has the same look and feel as the renewed look we are giving stores to ensure brand consistency and customer experience both online and offline”.

INTEGRATED SOLUTION

The webshop is fully integrated with OpSuite. “Again, it’s all about offering customers a good experience. Garden Connect and DavRich teamed up to make this happen. All stock- and pricing is synced. It saves us a lot of time and customers can easily complete their online purchase.” The webshop also links customer data, so customers who shop both on- and offline can find their transactions in one single account.

SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY

Frosts Garden Centres has four branches across Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire. “We have a huge potential in our area and launching a new website is just step 1 of the process. In conjunction with Garden Connect, we’re going to work on our search engine optimisation. The website is already search engine friendly, but we’re excited to make the next step to see how we can get more customers to our webshop and four centres via Google” explains Roberts.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

Edwin Meijer, MD of Garden Connect, makes clear this is only the starting point: “We’ve been working closely together with the marketing team of Frosts and DavRich to make this happen which is great, but it’s just the first step. During the discussions with Frosts, we decided to take a step by step approach. We’ll continue working together to enhance the customers experience even further and to create a profitable online marketing strategy for Frosts.”
